Jenny has been more than just my daughter's speech therapist, she has been her best friend and has practically become family. My daughter had 2-3 different therapists before I found Jenny two and a half years ago and she had little to no progression in that time. When Jenny came into the picture, it was like striking gold. Within a few sessions, I could already see such a difference in my daughter's speech. She has such a loving and caring approach with her and it's been truly remarkable to see how much she transformed my daughter's speech. I honestly can't speak highly enough of her and will forever be grateful for her service to our family.

Jennifer has been so amazing with Mila, she started off having trouble pronouncing the letter “R” in words and had worked with Jenny for a few months now and we have seen tremendous improvement. She is kind, patient and one of the sweetest teachers I have ever met! You can tell Jenny loves what she does, we couldn’t have asked for a better therapist for my daughter.

"Jennifer has helped my daughter finally communicate with our family. She’s been helping Sophia for 4 years now and we are so grateful for all her help not just with Sophia, but she has also taught us ways to help her improve. Thank you Jennifer!"

Jenny has been part of my son's (Angel) team for a while now. He had her as a teacher and when she changed her course to become an SLP we were proud and couldn't wait to start services with her. She has shown the patience, compassion and understanding that is needed to work with my Angel and many others with ASD. She loves what she does and it shows.

Highly recommend Jennifer as an SLP for all little ones! She is attentive, and played an intricate role in helping my son communicate. He is now asking for things using word combinations as opposed to just pointing things out and becoming frustrated. Thank you for everything Jenn!

I found Jennifer at the school where I work. My daughter was receiving therapy services at a hospital and I was not seeing improvement so I decided to transfer. My daughter went from not producing any more than about 5 words to now combining words at home. My family and I are so grateful & happy with her progress. Thank you Jennifer!

Teacher Line Icon

Mrs. Travieso is an exceptional SLP. I have had the pleasure to work along side her this school year with one of my students. She has great communication skills, letting me know all of the goals that were set after each session. Her organization skills and work ethic are outstanding. She goes out of her way to bring out the very best in young children. I am looking forward to working with her in the years to come.

SERVICES

CONSULTATIONS

If you’re concerned about your child’s speech and language development, unsure if they’re meeting their milestones, or just want to learn more about ways to help your child communicate more effectively, we offer parent consultations. These consultations are booked on an as-needed basis for families who want to learn more about speech and language development and strategies, but don't need ongoing therapy.

EVALUATIONS

If you’re concerned about whether your child is delayed or have been referred by a healthcare or school professional, a formal speech and language assessment can be conducted. An evaluation is the best tool to determine your child’s strengths and weaknesses as well as whether intervention is necessary. An evaluation will provide families with clear answers about what is going on and what can be done to help their children.

INTERVENTION

Recommended for children who have shown signs of a speech and/or language delay who would benefit from ongoing intervention for a period of time. Depending on findings from the formal evaluation, goals will be selected based on the child’s weaknesses. Frequency and duration will be determined by the severity. Parents will be provided with coaching on what can be done at home to help their children in between sessions.
